Hilton Hotels Corporation reported today that Alexander Mirza has been named to the newly-created position of senior v . p . of corporate development. Benefiting his significant hospitality industry expertise in both the corporate and consulting environments, he will be working company-wide on cool product development and partnerships, including food and beverage offerings, health clubs and spas, among others. Mirza will be based at the Hilton Hotels Corporation World Headquarters in Beverly Hills and reports straight to Matthew J. Hart, president and chief operating officer.

Before joining Hilton, Mirza was a senior executive inside the travel and transportation practice at Accenture. Mirza started his career at First Financial, Inc. and opened the first U.S. office servicing corporate high net-worth clients. His consulting background includes several years of project management knowledge about Deloitte/Braxton Associates inside the parts of value-based management, growth strategy and globalization.
